Chevaliers Cycling Club
Welcome! Chevaliers Cycling Club is based in south west London, formed in 2006 and crafted from the collective experience of various great British cycling clubs since the 1950s.
With a diverse blend of around 100 members, we’re perfectly positioned; small enough to be a single, welcoming group of friends, but large enough to support a broad array of bike rides and cycling events.
The club meets in Kingston upon Thames. Richmond Park, the Surrey Hills and the flat roads heading west to Windsor and Henley are our playgrounds.
Regular rides take place each week ranging from social gatherings to serious training. Some of us race, some of us ride sportives, some compete in endurance events, and some of us just like a gentle twiddle followed by a natter over coffee and cake. For the more adventurous of us, tours and foreign trips are arranged each year.
Why us?
Road cycling
We have a wealth of fantastic routes, and a broad range of groups to cater for all abilities, meeting in Kingston and led by experienced ride leaders.
Gravel cycling
Not content with riding on tarmac alone, we love to mix it up on the rough stuff!
Women
We’re passionate about helping more women get into cycling; our women’s rep ensures needs are met.
Flippin’ great kit
We’re proud to advertise Milltag as the club’s supplier. They’re based in London, produce top quality kit and have strong ethical and environmental credentials.
Social
For some members, riding with the Chevaliers is merely an excuse to socialise with the Chevaliers.
Coaching and development
New to road cycling, lacking the confidence to ride in groups, or just want to improve your skills as a bike rider? We’re here to help!
